At USNR we take pride in providing you with innovative, fully integrated products. Our products result from first-hand knowledge and an evolving vision of the wood products industry. Whether you are looking for a more efficient means of cutting, handling, or drying your lumber, our products enable you to maintain high production levels while increasing your return rates.

ENGINEERED WOOD PRODUCTS
USNR offers a variety of lines of engineered wood processing and Radio Frequency (RF) gluing equipment for products including LVL, Panel, I-Joist, OSB, MDF, particleboard, moulded door skins, pulp, Ag fiber, gypsum fiber, finger joint lines, etc. Each machine is made according to your specifications with our quality guarantee. We are constantly applying new innovations to our products so they are more durable, efficient and easier to maintain. Whether it's our fully enclosed Bundle Cut Saw or our fully automated control systems we are dedicated to providing you the best solution in the industry.

VENEER/PLYWOOD
USNR has expanded its range of equipment to include systems for the manufacture of plywood and panels. With the distinction of designing and building the first rotary veneer lathe in 1857, USNR's Coe products and innovative solutions are known world wide. Whether you require a lathe system, veneer drying system, plywood press system, parts or service, we have the experience and expertise to offer you the perfect combination of solutions to enhance your bottom line without sacrificing quality!

LOG MERCHANDIZING
The USNR Lumber Handling line brings innovation and additional power to an outstanding line of machines. New infinite log sizing possibilities, and cleaner, faster mechanics will help increase production within the entire process. Together they are an unbeatable line of systems.

PRIMARY BREAKDOWN
USNR consistently introduces smart innovations to our line of primary breakdown equipment. With our patented SST technology, and a big increase in total log control, the primary breakdown line is a huge step toward increased recovery and greater profits. USNR also now offers the Newnes-McGehee line of primary breakdown solutions, bringing you even more choice to suit your applications.

SECONDARY BREAKDOWN
The USNR line of secondary breakdown equipment brings more options and more recovery to an already superior lineup. Smoother operation, larger cutting heads, and more compact size are just a few reasons why these machines are a huge value to your mill. USNR also now offers the Newnes-McGehee line of secondary breakdown solutions, bringing you even more choice to suit your applications.

TRIM, SORT, AND STACK
USNR offers a wide range of equipment and systems for sawmills and planer mills. Our designs combine accuracy, speed, and durability to meet tough requirements for feeding, trimming, sorting and stacking from the simplest to the most challenging configurations.

USNR also offers the well-known Newnes line of sawmill and planer mill equipment to its mix. Newnes sawmill and planer mill systems are operating globally from North and South America to Europe and Australasia.

DRYING SYSTEMS
USNR has been leading the dry kiln industry for over 100 years. With continuous innovation the modern USNR kilns represent the peak of control and adaptability for both hardwood and softwood drying applications. Today it takes less time and energy to yield a finished product with a higher rate of recovery – which should be expected from a company that's been producing dry kilns for as long as we have.

PLANING SYSTEMS
USNR has been designing, manufacturing, and installing planermill systems for many years. Along the way, we've learned a lot about high-speed lumber finishing - and we are prepared to pass that knowledge along to you. With several recent installations, USNR is at the cutting edge of planing technology. USNR also offers the Coastal planer line along with its rich history, expertise and experience with over 150 machines in operation.

MILL-WIDE SCANNING AND OPTIMIZATION
For over 25 years, USNR has been an industry leader in scanning and solution technologies for primary and secondary sawmill machine centers. In March of 2002, USNR acquired Perceptron, Inc.'s Forest Products Division, bringing to the USNR family a new suite of sawmill control and optimization products. Our LASAR and TriCam scanners produce some of the highest density scan data in the industry. Our optimizers propose the most desirable solution for processing raw material. Our information management tools provide sawmill process management with sophisticated reporting, real-time feedback, order scheduling, production control, and mill-wide information management.

Mill-Wide Information Systems from USNR represent a proven solution in mill optimization technology, integrating a powerful suite of data management and process optimization tools. These tools give lumber mills the ability to model production value based on raw material characteristics, a distinct advantage in today's lumber market.

In 2006, the Master™ optimization product line was added to our portfolio with the acquisition of Inovec. This solid line includes sawmill optimization products starting from the headrig through to the trimmer, and features DynaVision scan heads. The YieldMaster™ G3 Carriage Optimizer has recently made news with several new installations. Applying solid state lasers and fibre optic interface, it scans faster and with more accuracy than any other competing carriage scanner on the market.

USNR's addition of the Newnes line in 2008 rounds out an already substantial offering. The Newnes optimization complement includes sawmill optimization products starting from bucking through to trimming, and adds planermill grade optimization and value-added chop and rip optimization to the USNR mix. Newnes optimization dates back over 2 decades, with hundeds of optimized systems operating worldwide.
